Caro presidente dell’Associazione per Villa Pamphilj, chi risponde a questo suo articolo è il presidente del Corsaorientamento Club Roma.
Così come le ho detto martedì di persona, le ribadisco anche qui la mia ammirazione per il suo impegno profondo nel tutelare Villa Pamphilj, evidenziando quanto di marcio è nascosto qua e la.
Ritengo altresì che sia doveroso fare le dovute distinzioni tra chi deturpa, sporca, degrada e insulta i nostri parchi e chi invece tenta e riesce da anni a far vivere gli spazi verdi in modo alternativo e (al contrario di come lei afferma) sicuro e attento. Lei ci ha trattato per l’ennesima volta come delinquenti.

Ormai da molti anni il nostro Club promuove l’orienteering (www.fiso.it per chi volesse approfondire di cosa si tratta) attraverso gare rivolte ad agonisti e neofiti e attraverso momenti promozionali sia scolastici che non.
Esistiamo da oltre 20 anni e organizziamo manifestazioni da altrettanto tempo. Ogni nostro istruttore è un tecnico federale e la maggior parte di noi ha esperienza pluriennale.

Nello specifico martedì è stata una delle tante mattine dedicate alle scuole che ha portato oltre 12 classi, provenienti da Roma e dintorni, a conoscere e vivere villa Pamphilj attraverso il nostro sport.
Anche ieri lei si è presentato attaccandoci (si..perché è così che lei ci approccia) gridando che non avevamo i permessi per entrare con la macchina, ma li avevamo, e allora ha asserito che non era la targa giusta, ma lo era, e allora ha detto che negli anni passati non li avevamo…(!!!)
Ha poi continuato accusandoci di negligenza e di incompetenza…e allora le abbiamo fatto notare che in tanti anni di attività, con migliaia di persone, adulti e bambini, non è MAI accaduto nulla, e lei ha semplicemente detto che siamo stati fortunati (la qual cosa non credo che regga) e che non sappiamo fare il nostro lavoro…
Le ho anche ricordato che negli anni passati, per quieto vivere, il nostro ex presidente ha parlato con lei ricevendo indicazioni dei punti/zone che a suo parere erano da evitare rivedendo gli esercizi allontanando ulteriormente i punti di controllo dalle aree segnalateci…ma lei ha negato di aver avuto questo dialogo…e che comunque abbiamo peggiorato la cosa, ammettendo così che la modifica era stata effettivamente fatta (perché avremmo dovuto farlo se non fosse avvenuto quel discorso?).
Credo che anche il modo in cui vengono dette le proprie opinioni sia importante…infatti alcuni docenti ed anche alcuni ragazzi, negli anni, ci hanno riferito di essere stati fermati da lei e di aver ricevuto avvertimenti forti…screditando noi e soprattutto spaventando loro, durante l’attività. Posso anche capire la buona fede e le buone intenzioni, ma forse non si è reso conto che in questo caso è stato proprio lei l’unico ad importunarli e a spaventarli.

Ci ha solo attaccato, come fossimo noi coloro che rendono insicura villa Pamphilj.

Ma precisiamo punto per punto le sue accuse (perché di questo si tratta).
Come si evince anche dalle foto da lei scattate, il luogo dove iniziano e terminano i nostri esercizi sono sempre al centro degli esercizi stessi, di modo che i ragazzi abbiano sempre un riferimento.
Siamo tutti istruttori federali ma non siamo soli. I docenti sono parte integrante della giornata e si muovono assieme ai ragazzi, pronti a interagire con noi in ogni momento di necessità.
Sempre da come si evidenzia dalle sue foto, i punti di controllo sono visibili da lontano e TUTTI fuori da boschi e vicino a sentieri più o meno grandi che permettono loro di muoversi in sicurezza.
Come ben saprà, per poter praticare l’orienteering si utilizzano mappe che vanno stampate giorni prima e quindi i punti di controllo devono essere posizionati esattamente dove indicato dalla mappa e se il giorno della manifestazione, durante la posa dei punti di controllo, il nostro istruttore non si accorge di sporcizie varie (che puntualmente provvediamo a rimuovere), la cosa ci dispiace, ma non possiamo essere additati come superficiali e noncuranti. Come le ho mostrato proprio ieri, al termine della giornata nella mia sacca erano presenti pezzi di carta e bottigliette di plastica, che durante il recupero dei punti di controllo ho trovato lungo la mia strada… il mondo degli orientisti tiene profondamente alla sicurezza soprattutto dei ragazzi e alla pulizia delle aree verdi, che consideriamo il nostro mondo.

Mi metto nei panni di chi non conosce il nostro sport e che non può quindi immaginare la cura dei dettagli, la responsabilità durante la preparazione degli esercizi e l’impegno in generale che questo meraviglioso sport richiede e quindi, magari genitore, nel leggere le sue parole, ci giudica incoscienti e chissà cos’altro…
Questa è la cosa che mi rammarica di più. Una persona parla e un’altra si fa un’opinione in base a quanto legge. Non può ovviamente essere altrimenti.

Il nostro club non ha mai ribattuto alle accuse da lei rivolteci in questi anni, oggi ho deciso di rispondere per cercare di diffondere una corretta informazione a chi segue questa pagina, ma ritengo anche sterile dibattere con un muro di gomma, perciò non lo farò una seconda volta.

Ogni tanto c’è chi prova ad indicare le stelle…ma poi c’è chi si intestardisce a guardare il dito.
